Paizo Publishing has announced the August release of Ultimate Combat, a new hardcover rulebook for the Pathfinder Role-playing Game. The 256-page hardcover reference volume, which will have an MSRP of $39.99, introduces three new 20-level classes—the gunslinger, ninja, and samurai—in addition to new feats and firearm rules. 

 

Ultimate Combat also provides players with tons of new tricks and techniques for combat-oriented character classes, lots of new rogue talents, and more than 60 new archetypes for nearly every Pathfinder RPG character class including spellcasters like wizards and clerics.

 

Over the next three weeks Paizo is playtesting much of the Ultimate Combat material. Players are urged to download free test documents from Paizo’s Website and then post comments and suggestions on the Paizo message boards.
