Bunny warfare is the theme for the latest version of Killer Bunnies coming from Playroom Entertainment. Announced at the recent New York Toy Fair, Killer Bunnies and the Conquest of the Magic Carrot will be a stand-alone game, but will be fully compatible with the earlier Quest for the Magic Carrot game. It is expected to release this spring.
As before, players compete to claim the Magic Carrot to win the game. Gameplay is similar to Quest, with groups of wacky bunnies attempting to eliminate their rivals. In this version, there is a greater emphasis on the whimsical weapons, and their use against opponents’ bunny collections. Resource management and bartering between players are also part of the game.
Killer Bunnies and the Conquest of the Magic Carrot will include 165 large cards, 36 small cards, and 9 dice. The game was designed by Jeffrey Neil Bellinger and features graphics by Jonathan Young.
