Non-licensed Game From Z-Man

Z-Man Games has announced that it will publish Cartoon Action Hour, an RPG originally released by Spectrum Game Studios as a PDF download. While the game has no licenses, it allows players to create characters in a variety of worlds familiar to fans of 80s cartoons. Among the characters that players can create are transforming robots, furry warriors, barbarians with magic swords, and paramilitary forces. The DM creates a series, and each game session becomes an episode in the series. Cartoon Action Hour will be released in February. Also planned as a future release is Kids Action Hour, with simplified rules for generating characters in the humor-based cartoons of the 80s. Cartoon Action Hour is Z-Man's first RPG; previous releases include the Shadowfist CCG and Warchon, a Playmark Book Game.
