Those who play Martin Wallace’s Steam board game will soon have the ability to build their network of railroads in new places around the world thanks to Mayfair Games’ release of the Steam Map Expansion #1 (MSRP $24).  The Steam Map Expansion #1 will offer three new maps in a single pack.  The maps will support 2, 3, and 6 players, ages 10 and up and will be released by Mayfair this summer.

 

The three maps included in the Steam Map Expansion are: (1) Belgium and Luxembourg, an expansion for 2 players competing to build an empire; (2) the Brussels Metro, an expansion for three players developing intercity transit; and (3) Mid-Atlantic USA, an expansion for 3-6 players building railroad empires in the Civil War era. 

 

The Steam board game designed by Martin Wallace is required in order to use this map expansion.  The expansion itself was designed Morgan Dontanville and features art by Jared Blando (maps) and John Austin (rules cover and background).
