Z-Man Games plans to release the new board game Ninjato next month. Designed by Adam West and Dan Schnake, this game of ninja strategy and intrigue is designed for two to four players, and plays in about an hour.
Set in Twelfth Century Japan, Ninjato presents an unstable political scene where mighty clans compete for control as an aged emperor retires. The players assume the role of leaders of ninja clans, seeking to exploit the chaos and become the “Invisible Sword” of the ruling family.
During the game, players take various actions to improve their ninja clan, attack members of other clans, steal treasures, and influence political events in the empire. Actions can be performed with strength, requiring the play of high-value cards, or by stealth, using low-value ones.
Ninjato will have a suggested retail price of $49.99.
