Bandai will distribute toys based on Monsuno in Japan. The toys will be manufactured by master toy licensee and property co-owner Jakks Pacific. Other toy licensees lined up for the property include Giochi Preziosi Group (Europe), Hunter Products (Australia), Planet Fun (New Zealand) and Prima (South Africa). Jakks’ toys will include action figures, accessories, playsets, collectibles, electronics, and integrated role play.
The show will launch on Nicktoons in the U.S., and on Nickelodeon channels worldwide (see “’Monsuno’ Cartoon Series Launching in 2012”).
Monsuno originated as a Jakks Dentsu co-production (see “Jakks Dentsu Co-Production”). Topps, an investor in the property, will release the CCG based on Monsuno (see “Topps Investing in ‘Monsuno’ Anime”).
