Stronghold Games announced four new games and three expansions for release this summer. Three games will premiere at Origins and the rest will premiere at Gen Con. The first three debut at Origins:
Vampire Empire is a two-player card game of bluffing and deduction. Designed by Filip Milunski, with gothic-style artwork, the game includes nine Character Cards, nine Art Card Sleeves, nine Character Tokens, 40 Vampire Deck cards, 40 Human Deck Cards, 12 Attack/Defense Markers, a bag, a card overview sheet, and a rulebook for $29.95 MSRP.
Voluspa is an easy-to-learn tile-laying game, a reimagining of Kachina. Designed by Scott Caputo with deep gameplay, with art by Piero. For 2-5 players, playable in 45 minutes, MSRP of $34.95.
Time ‘n’ Space, designed by Tobias Stapelfeldt, is playable in 30 minutes by 3-4 players, ages 10 and up. This production management, pickup and deliver game gives each player two one-minute sandtimers, which players use to move their starships, and produce and deliver goods. The game includes one double-sided game board, four player boards, four spaceships, the sandtimers, tiles, goods cubes, order tiles, and a rulebook for $59.95 MSRP.
At Gen Con, the rest will premiere:
Space Cadets: Dice Duel is a stand-alone game by Sydney and Geoff Engelstein, not an expansion. Players are divided into two teams, each playing the crew of a starship. Components include 50 dice, mostly custom-engraved, two starship miniatures, six purple acrylic crystals, game board, tokens, and displays, for $49.95 MSRP.
Three expansions for Revolver 1 are also planned. Revolver 1.3: Vengeance on the Frontier introduces the Frontier Deck; Revolver 1.4: The Tarnished Star adds a "duel" at Ratttlesnake Creek, and comes with new Red Poker Chips; and Revolver 1.5: Death Rides a Horse adds cards for the Frontier, McReady and Colty Decks, a new Ambush card, and more Red Poker Chips. All three will retail for the same price: $14.95.
