The title for Konami’s up-coming Battle Pack 2 set for its Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game will be War of the Giants.  This set is designed for sealed deck play, and focuses on high-level monsters.  The release date will be June 28th.
 
The War of the Giants will include a total of 215 cards for the game, including three "Legendary God Cards."  There will be a total of 50 rare cards, 162 commons, and three special cards available only as Mosaic Rares.
 
Since this expansion focuses on high-level monsters that are often difficult to bring into play, many cards in the set feature game mechanisms to help players summon them.
 
War of the Giants will be available in five card booster packs.  Each pack includes one rare card, one Mosaic Rare card, and three common cards.  The suggested retail price will be $1.99 per pack.
 
This release is scheduled to follow Konami’s June Super Starter set and precedes the upcoming Judgment of the Light expansion.  For details, see "'YGO!: Judgment of the Light'."
