WizKids announced the latest edition to the HeroClix line, Pacific Rim: HeroClix, will release on July 10th, two days before the film opens. 
 
Announced back in February at ToyFair (see "More Wizkids Licensed Games"), the new game will feature characters from the much-anticipated Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures film.  There are 10 figures in all: five Jaegers (the giant fighting robots) and five Kaiju (the monsters).  The Jaeger line includes: Gipsy Danger, Striker Eureka, Cherno Alpha, Crimson Typhoon and Coyote Tango.  The Kaiju line features: Knifehead, Slattern, Raiju, Scunner and Leatherback.
 
The figures will be individually blind-boxed and available in 24-count gravity feed display boxes.  There will also be a special mini-game released, which includes tokens for battleships, jets, and tanks for battle creation right out of the package.
 
Pacific Rim releases in theaters on July 12th.  The first trailer was released back in May (see "'Go Big or Go Extinct'--First Full 'Pacific Rim' Trailer").
