The U.S. operations of The Bella Sara Company have been shut down, according to a former employee, and no further trading cards or Web games are being developed at this time. All employees were laid off in early May. The property is being managed by owners Bitte and Henrik Heindorf from Denmark.
There are still plans for an OAV (see "'Bella Sara' Feature"), which is due out this fall.
Peter Adkison’s Hidden City Games, which originally brought the property to the U.S., shut down two years ago when The Bella Sara Company took its operations in-house (see "Bella Sara Goes In House").
