Hasbro's detailed Q3 financials were released last week, and the report on its retail operations showed another four stores closed (for a total of 18 closed so far this year), and declining sales and losses. Store sales for the quarter declined to $6.7 million from $9.1 million in the year ago period. Retail operating losses declined to $3.6 million from $6.1 million in Q3 last year. This continues Hasbro's dismantling of the retail operation it inherited in its acquisition of Wizards of the Coast (see 'Hasbro Continues To Close Game Stores').
