White Wolf has laid out plans for its World of Darkness line in the wake of the release of the World of Darkness Rulebook and Vampire:  The Requiem last weekend (see 'World of Darkness Relaunch Set').  With a relatively deliberate publishing schedule of two hardcovers per month (see 'It's All Hardcovers for White Wolf's Flagship RPG Line'), and the first book in the next family of titles, Werewolf:  The Forsaken not coming until February (see 'Werewolf:  The Forsaken Delayed Until February'), White Wolf is filling in with merchandise, fiction, and related products in other categories in addition to its hardcover releases to keep the product flow going.

In September, three game supply products are planned:  Vampire Character Sheet Pad, Vampire Storyteller Screen, and Vampire Dice.

In October, one Vampire hardcover is scheduled, Coteries, which explores the family life of the Kindred.  White Wolf will also kick off its new Vampire fiction line with A Hunger Like Fire.

Three hardcovers are planned for November:  Nomads and Rites of the Dragon for the Vampire line, and World of Darkness:  Ghost Stories for World of Darkness.  Two different Vampire:  The Eternal Struggle tins will also ship as White Wolf's contribution to the plethora of CCG tins for the holidays.

In December, a Vampire cloisonn? pin display will ship, containing two each of ten different pin designs.  And the World of Darkness universe will expand to boardgames with the release of Prince of the City, the Vampire boardgame at a healthy $39.99 MSRP.  A hardcover World of Darkness sourcebook, WoD:  Antagonists, will feature nasties other than vampires, werewolves, or mages.  And White Wolf will kick off the relaunch of its World of Darkness LARP with the release of the Mind's Eye Theater Rulebook and MET:  The Requiem.

January is a relatively light month, with only one published product, Lancea Sanctum for Vampire, plus a Vampire mousepad and a Werewolf t-shirt.

February will see the release of the Werewolf:  The Forsaken hardcover; another Vampire fiction title, Blood In, Blood Out; and Kindred Most Wanted, the next Vampire the Eternal Struggle starters and boosters.

In March, the supply products flow again, with the Werewolf Storyteller Screen, Dice, and Character Sheet Pads.  The first Werewolf Fiction title, Hunter's Moon, ships, as well as one Vampire hardcover, Bloodlines 1:  The Hidden.

Initial response to the World of Darkness relaunch appears strong (see 'World of Darkness Rulebook Sold Out'), and with the long-term potential for media support (see 'New Line Options Vampire:  The Requiem') and a carefully thought out publishing and merchandise program, with a limited number of releases, this line should continue to do well for years to come.
