John Phythyon, GAMA's Public and Member Relations Director since February of this year (see 'John Kaufeld Named New GAMA VP') has tendered his letter of resignation.  He stated, 'I just feel this is the right time for me to explore other career opportunities.'

Phythyon previously served as a GAMA board member from 2000 to 2004, and as Vice President from 2003 until taking the full time position.  

His move from Vice President to full time employee was the subject of some controversy this year (see 'GAMA Board of Directors Interview--Part 3').
