Wizards of the Coast cut fifteen people this month, a relatively small percentage of its 360-person staff worldwide.  Wizards spokesperson Toby Nelson explained the move.  'While this is difficult,' he said, 'the changes we are making will give the company added flexibility and resources to more aggressively pursue the fastest growing areas of our business while meeting the changing needs of our customers and consumers.'

While Nelson would not confirm the names of the persons affected, citing 'obligations to employee confidentiality,' names listed by other sources include Senior Vice President of Marketing Cornelius Lee, Vice President of Markeitng Joe Hauck, and Charles Ryan, Dungeons and Dragons Brand Manager.  All of the employees will receive competitive severance packages, according to Nelson.
