Introduced at the recent New York International Toy Fair, Briarpatch's Dinosaurs Extinct? board game (MSRP $19.95) allows players to become their favorite dinosaurs and travel through time warps, leap over volcanic lava flows, avoid terrifying T-Rexs and giant meteorite impacts, all in an effort to reach the twenty-first century unscathed and win the game.  Players have to avoid tar pits and survive climate changes to avoid becoming extinct in this innovative game, which debuts in March.

Created for 2 to four players ages 5 and up Dinosaurs Extinct? combines exciting board game action with dinosaurs (which kids love) and it manages to provide some interesting information about the fate of the 'terrible lizards' along the way.  The game comes with a sturdy full color game board, four dinosaur tokens, four Dino Life cards, 14 Earth Event cards, and a Dino Bone Die.
