Pokemon USA has announced the May 3rd release of Ex Holon Phantoms, the next expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game.  The expansion contains more than 100 new cards including new Delta Species, new Pokemon-ex, and six basic energy cards with a new holographic treatment.  Card from the new series are available in two 60-card theme decks (MSRP $10.99 each), FireMist and FloodRush, as well as 9-card Booster Packs (MSRP $3.49). Theme decks come with a metallic coin, an updated rulebook, card list, one-player playmat, and damage counters.

The key additions which the Ex Holon Phantoms expansion provides to the Pokemon TCG are the more than 40 new Delta Species cards.  These Pokemon come from a region south of the city of Holon and they possess a unique Dual Energy type, which introduces new levels of strategy into game play.
