ICv2 has learned that Bandai Collectible Games has acquired the collectible card game (CCG) license for Ben 10, the popular animated series that debuted on the Cartoon Network in January.  Bandai Collectible Games plans to release its Ben 10 CCG in the spring of 2007.  Bandai Collectible Games' sister company Bandai America has the action figure license for Ben 10 and plans on releasing a line of action figures later this year (see 'Bandai's Animation-Driven Toy Lines').

Created by comic book industry veterans Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Steve Seagle, and Joe Kelly the Ben 10 animated series has done exceptionally well since it debuted in January on Saturday mornings where it is the number one show with its target demographic (boys 6-11).
