The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has announced that its 2007 Trade Show (GTS) will take place from April 23-26 (instead of its traditional mid-March dates) and will be held at Bally's Las Vegas (instead of the Riviera, where it has been for the last two years).  Acccording to the announcement, Bally's provides more informal gathering areas and a better flow through the exhibit hall, while the April dates will avoid conflict with the Western States Toy and Hobby Show and will also allow exhibitors and retailers to attend both the 2007 GTS and the 2007 ASTRA Marketplace show with a single trip.

The GAMA Retail Division has also announced the results of elections held at the GTS on March 15 to determine board members. The attending members promoted last year's Vice-Chair, Laurel King (Titan Games), into the Chairman position.  Board Director Kelli Wallace (Fantasy Shop) moved into the Vice-Chair position, while Jim Crocker (Modern Myths) retained his familiar position as Secretary.

Board Directors Jason Zara (Knightly Games) and Bob Moses (Chimera Games and Hobby) were re-elected, while Rowen Guenther (Diversified Games) and Tony Lakas (The Danger Room) were elected to the board for the first time.
