Twilight Creations is readying a second edition of the popular Zombies!!! game that will reflect five years of input from retailers and fans. The new version of the game is backwards compatible with the previous edition and all of the expansions and supplements -- in fact the Second Edition comes with a deeper box capable of holding all the Zombies!!! expansions. Other improvements include updated art on all the map tiles and event cards, new red heart tokens, revised and updated rules and brand new female zombie figures.
Despite having the chill of death about them Zombies are currently hot items in the pop culture market. This trend began a few years ago with the success of films such as 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead, and the Resident Evil series and has spread like a virus to the world of comic books where Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead graphic novels from Image and his new Marvel Zombies series have become huge hits.
Zombies!!! Second Edition (MSRP $27.99) includes 2 dice, 6 shotgun guys, 30 new full color map tiles, 50 action cards, dozens of counters, and 100 plastic zombies (half of which are female). Like its previous iteration the new version of Zombies!!! combines elements from both board games and miniatures games into an exciting game playing experience perfectly targeted at teens and young adults. Zombies!!! Second Edition will ship to retailers in June.
