WizKids announced at GenCon that it has licensed its Pirates CSG to Sony Online Entertainment, LLC, for use in an online version of the game.  It will be developed by Sony's Worlds Apart Productions studio.  

This upcoming online Pirates game, expected to launch this fall, will feature tools to manage offline and online Pirates CSG collections. Highlights will include sea monsters and the supernatural with the Pirates of Davy Jones Curse, as well as an online version of WizKids upcoming Pirates board game, The Quest for Davy Jones Gold.

World Apart Productions has been working with Triking for its Anachronism organized play program, and developed online versions of Decipher's Lord of the Rings and Star Trek CCGs (see 'TriKing Revamps Organized Play').
