ICv2 contacted NECA for the story regarding the unauthorized 7' Freddie Mercury Leather Era Figure (see 'NECA Gets Cease and Desist') and received this statement from President Joel Weinshanker: 'We are working closely with Steve Gerstman services, the Freddie Mercury estate and Queen Productions Limited to get back any available product. We are currently shipping both the 7' and 18' of Freddie Mercury based on his appearance from 1986's The Magic Tour.'
