Product Enterprises Ltd., the UK-based manufacturer of classic toys based on the Doctor Who, Thunderbirds, Stingray and Space 1999 licenses, is re-branding itself as Iconic Replicas Ltd. and changing its focus from producing classic toys to creating limited edition, high end collectibles.  The shift will allow for a greater number of releases per year and in addition to its Gerry Anderson and Doctor Who-based replicas, the company plans to create high quality prop replicas based on a number of popular Irwin Allen properties including Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants and Lost in Space.

The deluxe 28-inch long Thunderbirds 2 prop replica is typical of the new wave of products from Iconic Replicas.  Based on the original plans of the models used in the show, the handcrafted model will be available only in a limited edition of 800 worldwide. The model comes with a presentation plinth with an etched brass plaque displaying a unique edition number as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by Gerry Anderson.  The MSRP for this superbly detailed replica is $800.00.

Among the other projects that Iconic Replicas is working on at the present is a full size, radio-controlled, inflatable Dalek, the Rolls Royce of Dalek collectibles, which will be available worldwide by the end of the year.
