The exhibit floor this year's San Diego Comic-Con seemed to have an even stronger focus on toys than usual, from Lego to high-end Star Wars models to the Labubu figures that were everywhere – if you knew to look for them. And retailers were there to feed the nostalgia hounds with long boxes loaded with classic titles. For their part, the cosplayers seemed to lean toward classic anime, Disney movies, Star Wars, and superhero stalwarts, with a scattering of newer properties such as Skibidi Toilet.
