Eon Productions and Corgi International Ltd. announced a Master Toy and Collectible Replica license covering the James Bond classic movie archive and also including any new films produced during the term of the agreement, which runs through 2010.  The worldwide agreement, the first Bond master toy license in 20 years, allows Corgi to produce action figures, vehicles, electronic roleplay, die cast and high end prop replicas, which will be produced under the Master Replica brand.

Corgi has been producing die cast vehicles based on the James Bond movies for over four decades, but this is the first time the company will be able to produce a full range of licensed James Bond toys.  This agreement also marks the first time that Eon Productions, the Broccoli-family company that has released 21 James Bond films, has ever issued a license for high-end prop replicas.

The most recent James Bond film, Casino Royale, took in nearly $600 million worldwide at the box office.  The next Bond movie is slated for 2008 so expect Corgi to field a complete range of products for the upcoming film as well as select items based on the classic Bond pictures.
