NBC is continuing to cast its two hour Knight Rider special, with Sydney Poitier (Veronica Mars, Grindhouse) the most recent addition, according to Hollywood Reporter. Soap star Justin Bruening has been cast as the lead in the role of the son of Michael Knight, the character played by David Hasselhoff in the original series.
NBC plans to air the telefilm as a movie later in this television season.
