Wizard Magazine founder and CEO Gareb Shamus has launched FunFare, a family-oriented consumer publication that combines elements of Wizard’s ToyFare and Toy Wishes magazines.  FunFare takes the humor of ToyFare and makes it family-friendly, while adding popular features including “The Hot Dozen Toys” from Toy Wishes.

The premiere issue of FunFare, which debuted at last weekend’s Wizard World Philadelphia contained a variety of articles including “The 100 Hottest Toys” coming out this season (along with the new “Hot Dozen” list), an all-ages version of the FunFare Theater comic strip, features on how Lego toys are made and the history of Fisher-Price’s “Little People,” plus profiles of the “Kid Kritics” who rate this season’s toys.

The first Holiday Issue of FunFare will debut at the Big Apple Con in October.  It will include the “Holiday Hot Dozen Toys.”
