Avatar took Golden Globe Awards for Best Drama Feature and Best Director for James Cameron at the awards ceremony on Sunday night.  This bodes well for Avatar, which just won its fifth consecutive weekend (see “Avatar Goes Five for Five”), at the Oscars. 

Robert Downey Jr. won Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical for the title role in Sherlock Holmes. 

Up took Best Animated Feature and also won for Best Score.
