The July issue of Diamond Previews includes a number of exclusive items as well as a shared exclusive (with the Electronics Boutique chain) of Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy figures from the comic-savvy Simpsons TV series (and, of course the Bongo Comics series).  As interpreted by action film star (and potential Republican California gubernatorial candidate) Rainer Wolfcastle, Radioactive Man is one of the most delicious superhero parodies ever, and quite naturally he comes prepackaged with his juvenile sidekick, Fallout Boy (a/k/a Milhouse). The five-inch scale figures come with a special base, and are capable of uttering their own catchphrases, though not always correctly since Wolfcastle just can't help mangling the 'delicious pun' in the Nuclear Knight's key utterance, 'Up and at 'em.'

Other key exclusive offerings in this month's Previews include: a military-clad Xander figure from the Buffy TV series produced by Moore Action Collectibles; an English language 'How to Draw Manga' volume that focuses on 'Giant Robots;' a bust of the busty Lara Croft; and a couple of very nice Star Wars sculptures produced in France and never previously offered in the U.S.

Diamond's Japanese toy imports, which are defacto exclusives since no one can match their wholesale prices, include several figures from the Playstation II game Armored Core 2 produced by Kotobukiya, a couple of Virtual On figures from Kaiyodo that were designed by Gundam Wing creator Katohi Hajime, and another round of cool Nightmare Before Christmas figures from Jun Planning.
