A Paid Advertisement.  Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles, LLC (DST) is well known throughout the industry for producing some of the best-selling merchandise from the most popular franchises in entertainment.  Every month, DST offers fans and collectors a wide variety of highly sought-after action figures, statues, busts, and other cherished collectibles. During the upcoming Comic-Con International: San Diego, retailers can catch a glimpse of what DST has in store for them in the near future.

Specialty retailers who keep Diamond Select items in stock have enjoyed increased profits and a growth in their customer base.  Merchandise licensed under the DST name regularly appears in Diamond Comic Distributors best-selling toys, statues, and models charts.  The products maintain the consistent appeal of high quality detail and creation by some of the most respected names in the industry.  DST's newest products should maintain the standard of being some of the most desired items by collectors on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.

Over the past few years, DST has produced collectibles from such fan-favorite licenses as Marvel Comics, the Hellboy movie, Alien vs. Predator, Army of Darkness, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and more.  At this year's Comic-Con International: San Diego, on Friday July 23 at 1:00 p.m., media representatives and fans can visit the DST booth, where Diamond Select representatives will announce their newest line of collectibles based on original concepts by one of comics leading creators.  During the press conference, a full-color, limited-edition print will be unveiled to the public based on designs of a forthcoming collectible release from the line.  A signing will be held for fans and members of the press immediately after the media event.

Also, Representatives of DST and Art Asylum will join top industry talent in offering collectors and members of the media insight into a manufacturer's philosophy of toy making by taking part in several panels at the San Diego Convention.  DST Director Chuck Terceira and Art Asylum President Digger will be among the panel members who will provide attendees with a behind-the-scenes look at the collectible toy industry.  On Thursday, July 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., a discussion entitled 'Action Figures - The State of the Industry' will take place in Room 3. The next day - Friday, July 23, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - conventioneers can join the panel in 'Behind the Plastic,' which will discuss the triumphs and failures of trying to get action figures from the initial launch to retailers' shelves.  Diamond Select and Art Asylum are supporting these fan-focused activities by donating various products as raffle prizes for the panels.

Both Comic-Con International: San Diego attendees and media representatives can visit the DST booth (Booth #2401) for more information on these panels, as well as the various best-selling products it manufactures.
