Lerach Coughlin et. al. has filed the first (that we could find) shareholder class action lawsuit against Jakks Pacific over its dispute with WWE, which includes allegations that the WWE license was obtained by bribery, and litigation to dissolve the licensing relationship between the companies (see 'WWE and Jakks in Courtroom Cage Match').
The suit focuses on the period between February 17th, the time when WWE and Jakks started privately discussing the matter, and October 19th, when the allegations were made public, alleging that Jakks was making positive statements about its WWE sales and not disclosing the problems.
