A container of Street Fighter Series I action figures, produced by factories in China for distribution by U.S. licensee SOTA toys, was destroyed before shipment to the U.S. SOTA discovered this loss when the remainder of the shipment recently arrived in the U.S. and the Street Fighter container was missing. SOTA says that its 'investigation of this incident is ongoing.'
Street Fighter Series I action figures have already been distributed by Diamond Comic Distributors, Tower Records, Hot Topic, Gamestop and other online and retail stores, but no more will be available until the next shipment arrives from China around the first week of December.
Meanwhile, Street Fighter Series 2, originally scheduled for U.S. release in November, is now scheduled to arrive in December.
