Topps will release its fourth series of Garbage Pail Kids cards in March or April of this year.  The new series will include 36 game cards that can be used to play a gross-out game tied to the property.  Collectable sketch cards by GPK artists John Pound, Jay Lynch, and Tom Bunk will be included at a rate of roughly one per box.  This series will continue the 'scratch and stink' cards that have been in previous series. 

2005 is the 20th anniversary of the Garbage Pail Kids property.  In a nod to the property's origins, the Atom Bomb character, which was emblematic of the first incarnation of the property, has been revived for the new series.
