Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Scarlett Johansson is in talks with Marvel Studios to play Natasha Romanoff (aka the Black Widow) in Iron Man 2.  Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada, Charlie Wilson’s War) had previously signed on to portray the gorgeous Russian superspy, but she is also set to play a key role in Fox’s Gulliver’s Travels, which begins shooting on April 15th and could conflict with production plans for Iron Man 2.

According to EW, Iron Man 2 still does not have a definitive shooting script, but Marvel Studios is worried about possible scheduling conflicts with Blunt, since production on Iron Man 2 has to start this spring (or early summer) in order to make its announced release date of May 7th, 2010.
