The Roy Rogers Entertainment Corp. has signed an agreement with 821 Entertainment for a film trilogy, animated TV, interactive game and merchandising based on the Roy Rogers property, according to Variety. The planned film trilogy will be a “family fantasy adventure,” 821 Entertainment CEO Eric Geadelmann told Variety.
Roy Rogers and Dale Evans were the stars of over 88 films, 100 TV episodes, and in 120 million comics sold.
821 Entertainment is a Nashville-based production company striving to become the leading independent producer of Heartland content."
