IDW is launching two four-issue zombie miniseries in February, with a Heroes star writing one and an “Eisner-losing team” on the other.  We Will Bury You, written by Heroes Star Brea Grant and her brother Zane, with art by Kyle Strahm, is set in 1920s New York, where two heroines from the margins of society battle the spreading zombie infection.  Covers are by Ben Templesmith, Nate Powell, and Trevor Hutchison.

Zombies vs. Robots Aventure continues the original series by the Eisner-nominated (and losing, as the announcement kindly points out) team of Chris Ryall and Ashley Wood with three serialized eight-pagers per issue, all written by Ryall.  Three artists are teamed with Ryall, with design and covers coming from Wood:  “Kampf,” with art by Mention Matthews III; “Masques,” with art by Paul McCaffrey; and “Ruvembies,” by Ryall and Gabriel Hernandez.
