Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment will release the complete Sound of the Sky (Sora no Woto) anime series in a DVD box set on July 5th. The twelve episodes (plus two special episodes), with Japanese audio and English subtitles, extras, and a 40-page book with series artwork and staff commentaries will be packaged in a collectors’ art box.

Sora no Woto was originally aired on TV Tokyo in early 2010. It’s based on an original concept by Paradores, directed by Mamoru Kanbe, with animation by A-1 Pictures.

The series tells the story of Kanata Sorami, a 15-year-old bugler whose enduring optimism will inspire the other members of the 1121st Platoon of the Helvetian Army, even in a world haunted by war.

Sound of the Sky is rated 16+. The set will retail for 49.99.
