Privateer Press has announced the August debut of the Heap Card Game (MSRP $21.99), a new Bodgers game featuring Privateer’s Bodger Goblin characters who in this fame are driving their broken down heaps across a vast post-apocalyptic wasteland and converging on a giant scrap heap where the Goblins do battle in arena-style bouts in order to gain the lion’s share of the auto scraps necessary to trick out their nasty rides.
Privateer has released a 3-minute video in which David Carl, the lead developer of the Heap game, presents a step-by-step breakdown of the game with an animated walk-through that provides viewers with a basic understanding of the game.
Heap is a stand alone game and is not an expansion for other Bodgers card games like Infernal Contraption. But like the other Bodgers game Heap is fast-paced and frantic fun, a madcap maelstrom of vehicular chaos. Heap features over 100 cards. Each player gets four vehicle cards, and of course there are all sorts of "parts" cards that enable players to customize their vehicles.
