Simon Kinberg has been signed to write a new version of the Fantastic Four movie, and has also come on board as producer, according to Hollywood Reporter. Kinberg is a writer, producer, or both on lots of geek films, including, most recently, X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Fox has made a lot of tries at a Fantastic Four reboot, most recently with a Seth Grahame-Smith script (see "New Writer on 'Fantastic Four'").
