Channing Tatum will play X-Man Gambit in the future, X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed to Total Film.
Tatum was rumored to be up for the role last month (see "Channing Tatum to Play Gambit?"), but at the "X-Men X-Perience Global Tour" London premiere of X-Men: Days of Future Past, when asked who she would like to play the roguish Remy LeBeau, and how talks were progressing, she said, "It is Channing... Yes," confirming the casting.
The Hollywood Reporter cites multiple sources, saying the plan is for Tatum to be introduced in X-Men: Age of Apocalypse, and get his star turn in the future solo spin-off film.
