The filming of Star Wars: Episode VII, which took a two-week hiatus after an injury to Harrison Ford, will resume later this month under the direction of J.J. Abrams. The film, which is still slated for a December 18th, 2015 release, was forced to shut down for a brief period (see "Ford's Broken Leg to Delay 'Star Wars' Shooting") after Ford suffered a broken leg on the set.
Now according to The Hollywood Reporter, production is slated to resume in London later this month. Ford, who broke his leg in early June, was seen at the premiere of The Expendables III this week. While Abrams was able to shoot around Ford’s absence for over a month, the fact that the production had to shut down for several weeks indicates that the actor’s Han Solo will play a major role in Episode VII.
