Fox’s adaptation of supernatural thriller The Empty Man, based on the BOOM! graphic novel written by Bunn and drawn by Vanessa Del Rey, stars James Badge Dale.

Ron's Gone Wrong

Walt Disney Studios claimed this date, along with several others, on May 7, 2019 as part of an extensive scheduling slate for Marvel Studios, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, and Star Wars films (see “Disney Reserves Dates for Three New 'Star Wars' Features”). This way, none of its extensive portfolio of studios cannibalize their siblings’ time in the spotlight. Except for this Fox feature, which is still butting up against a confirmed but untitled Marvel film.

Soul

This Pixar feature was rescheduled from June in the early days of the coronavirus shuffle of movie release dates.

Free Guy

This Fox film starring Ryan Reynolds was originally scheduled for July, but moved to December in the coronavirus shuffle of release dates.

Death on the Nile

This new date is at least the fourth for the follow-up o the blockbuster Wonder Woman feature (which grossed $412.6 million domestically), most recently rescheduled from October.
