Free League Publishing will offer a jumping-on point for its new ALIEN RPG: Evolved Edition with the Hope’s Last Day Starter Set, based on an expanded and updated version of the Hope’s Last Day adventure. The Starter Set will go on sale on November 25.

The Hope’s Last Day adventure acts as a prequel to the 1986 film Aliens, covering the events at the doomed colony of Hadley’s Hope, challenging players to survive as the Xenomorph nest emerges. The new starter set offers a new expanded version of the adventure updated for the Evolved Edition and a set of pre-generated characters to get players into the action quickly.

The Hope’s Last Day Starter Set is designed as an easy introduction to the new edition of the game at a special price. In addition to the introductory adventure, it includes an abridged rulebook featuring the Evolved Edition rules, a double-sided poster map measuring 86.4 by 55.8 cm with a map of colonized space in the year 2183 on one side and the Hadley’s Hope colony on the other, five pre-generated characters, game cards and tokens, rules reference sheets, tracking dials, 20 dice designed for the game, and a plastic Xenomorph miniature. MSRP is $39.99.

The Evolved Edition launches into the trade in November, with a new core rulebook (see "'ALIEN RPG: Evolved Edition'"), a campaign Adventure Set, and miniatures (see “Rapture Protocol’ for ‘ALIEN RPG’”) forming the first wave of products.
