Millennium Actress, the highly anticipated new anime feature from Perfect Blue director Satoshi Kon, will be available on DVD beginning October 28th of this year.  DreamWorks SKG has licensed the worldwide distribution rights for the film(see 'DreamWorks Aquires Anime Feature' for more on the DreamWorks deal and the film).

Millennium Actress was the Grand Prize Winner for Animation at the 2001 Japan Agency of Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival along with Spirited Away.  The film also won Best Animation and the Fant-asia Ground-Breaker Award at the Fant-asia Film Festival.

This film has a chance to join two other 2003 U.S. DVD/anime bestsellers -- Spirited Away and the latest DBZ feature -- as a top selling anime SKU of the year.
