Konami will release a 52-card all foil set, Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: World Superstars, on April 17. The set will be packaged in five-card packs, each with four Super Rares and one prismatic Secret Rare, a type of card not seen for years, for $3.99 MSRP. Of the 52-card set, 18 will be prismatic Secret Rares and 34 will be Super Rares.
Fifty of the cards in the set were previously available only in Japan and Korea, but are now being made available worldwide. Two of the cards are reprints of the prize cards from the 2012 World Championship in Tokyo: "Legendary Dragon of White" and "Legendary Magician of Dark" (neither of which is playable in regular play due to their extreme power).
The cards in the set, including dozens from the Zexal era, can boost the power of Xyz Monsters, with new Chronomaly, Star Seraph, Heroic Challenger, Gagaga, and Galaxy cards. New anti-Xyz weapons, including Pendulum Impenetrable and Numeral Hunter, are also included.
