The Pokemon Company has announced two new products for April release for the Pokemon TCG: the learn-to-play XY Trainer Kit--Latias and Latios, and Flygon-EX Box.

The Pokemon TCG: XY Trainer Kit--Latias and Latios contains everything a new player needs to learn and train with step-by step instructions.  The kit includes two 30-card decks (each with a special foil card), two guided game booklets, a 2-player playmat with game tips and rules on the reverse side, damage counters and Special Condition markers, a game coin, an illustrated deckbox, and a code card for the online game.  MSRP is $9.99.  The kit releases on April 29.

The Pokemon TCG: Flygon-EX Box focuses on the Mystic Dragon-type Pokemon, and will include a new foil card featuring Flygon-EX, an oversized card with Flygon-EX, 4 Pokemon TCG booster packs, and a bonus online code card.  MSRP is $19.99.  The box releases on April 15.

The products will follow the March release of the Double Crisis: Team Magma vs Team Aqua mini-expansion (see "'Pokemon: Double Crisis' Mini Expansion").

VIZ Media will release the first movie and manga based on the XY Series of Pokemon: Pokemon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction  on February 17 (see "'Pokemon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction'").
