The potential TV series based on Lucifer, which was spun out of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman series at Vertigo, got turbocharged with the additions of uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Sleepy Hollow creator Len Wiseman to the team for the pilot, which is going forward at Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  Fox did a put pilot commitment for Lucifer last September, with Tom Kapinos (Californication, Dawson’s Creek) producing (see "'Lucifer' Headed to TV"), so production was all but guaranteed.

Wiseman, who’s been writing Sleepy Hollow, executive produced and directed the pilot, and executive produced the first season, will exec produce and direct the pilot.  Kapinos will write, and Bruckheimer will executive produce along with two members of his team.
