At Toy Fair, Diamond Select announced a new license for Fox’s pre-Batman series Gotham, with plans to begin releasing products in late 2015 or early 2016.
"We’re very excited about the new Gotham license; we plan action figures and Minimates," Zack Oat, Diamond Select Marketing Supervisor told ICv2. "We plan four packs for Minimates and select figures with the deluxe diorama pieces."
There were promotional versions of Selena Kyle, Oswald Cobblepot and James Gordon figures on display at the show, but photos were not allowed.
Oat elaborated on plans for the line. "The Penguin will come with a dock scene, from when Gordon first helps him fake his death, and Catwoman will come with a catwalk fire escape," he said. "And we’re hoping to do a two-pack of Minimates for San Diego Comic-Con."
