Avengers ID Card Carousel
At the GAMA Trade Show, WizKids revealed the full scope of its Avengers ID Cards promotion, which will require collectors to assemble cards from three regular product SKUs, through organized play, and at conventions and special events to build a complete collection of all 56 cards.  "The Avengers ID Cards are integral to a lot of the releases we’re doing," WizKids Marketing & Product Coordinator Scott D'Agostino told ICv2.  "There are ID Cards that are playable in-game for different characters."

The breakdown of the sources for the 56 Avengers ID cards is as follows:

Avengers ID Standee, with and without the Iron Man pic
Collateral elements tied to the Avengers ID cards are also available, including the Marvel HeroClix: Age of Ultron Promo Standee, a 22" x 34" Avengers ID card for in-store promotion (the Iron Man image pops out for use with fan photos); the Avengers Round Table resource, which works with the Avengers ID Cards; and the Avengers Quinjet (which can also utilize the ID cards), the organized play grand prize.

The Avengers ID Cards can be played by themselves, or can be played as inserts in the Avengers Round Table resource or in the Quinjet vehicle, according to D’Agostino.

WizKids also discussed upcoming organized play programs at GTS.  The company confirmed that the first storyline OP for
DC Dice Masters, the Trinity War Storyline OP (see "WizKids to Launch 'DC,' 'D&D Dice Masters' OP"), will launch after the release of the Justice League set in April (see "'DC Dice Masters Justice League Dice-Building Game'").

D&D Dice Masters will begin monthly organized play soon.  D’Agostino said, "We do have plans for [D&D Dice Masters] storyline organized play, but nothing announced at this point."  The company also plans storyline OP for D&D Attack Wing.

Star Trek: Attack Wing will have The Q-Continuum Storyline OP beginning this summer.

WizKids also recently announced that due to the unpredictability of shipping schedules because of continuing delays at west coast ports (see "A Long Time to Unclog Ports"), it will now initially announce only the anticipated month of future product releases, not setting specific release dates until around six weeks before street date.
