Welcome to the Dungeon is a push-your-luck dungeon crawl. Players dare their opponents to tackle the dungeon with less and less equipment while fighting an increasing horde of monsters. Players must beat the dungeon twice, or be the last player standing. The game is for 2-4 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. Release is planned for April 30. MSRP is $14.99.
Alien Wars is a family memory and dexterity game. Players throw discs across the table to blow up their enemies. The game is for 2-6 players, ages 6 and up and plays in 10 minutes. The box contains 3 nano minefields, 54 alien fleet cards, 6 shooting discs, and a rulebook. Release is planned for summer. MSRP is tentatively $25.00. Big Book of Madness is a cooperative deck-building game where players are magic students who must work together to turn all the pages of the book, then shut it, after defeating the monsters they’ve just freed. The game is for 2-5 player ages 10 and up, and plays in 60-90 minutes. Release is planned for July. MSRP was not announced. Sapiens is a light strategy game with a prehistoric theme. Players are clan chiefs who must guide their clans to new lands and gather food for the winter. Players connect tiles to create paths for the tribe, while gathering food and discovering caves along the way. At the end of the game, players compare how much food and shelter they have gathered, and whichever of these two domains is weaker overall is chosen for the final comparison. The player with the most points in this domain wins. The game is for 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. MSRP is $49.99. Kenjin is a card game set in feudal Japan. Players must defend their territory from the enemy through bluffing and tactics. The box contains 52 army cards, 10 battlefield tiles, and a rulebook. The game is for 2-4 players, ages 12 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. Release is planned for July.
