The scarred visage of Ryan Reynold’s Wade Wilson character for the new Deadpool movie has been revealed, thanks to an image leaked on Twitter.

Other images have been making the rounds, but this close-up proves Wilson’s cancer-ridden mug is a lot closer to the various comic book interpretations than the X-Men Origins: Wolverine ending which caused a wave of backlash from fans.

The new costume was revealed by Reynolds himself last month, along with plot details (see “'Deadpool' Logo, Synopsis, Costume Revealed”).
